Who We Are

In 1995, Dr. Jose Monsalvez was the first in Houston to introduce Laser Technology to treat varicose veins. Experience counts when it comes to laser vein treatment. There is no one in Houston that is more experienced than Dr. Jose G. Monsalvez, who has been performing General and Vascular Surgery for over 35 years. He is the Medical Director of the Laser Institute and Vein Care Center, "we started the center 15 years ago when nobody was doing Laser for Vein Disorders in Houston." - (Total Body Magazine). We are also training other Doctors from out of state and internationally in the use of Lasers. The emphasis for us is the latest Vein Laser Technology.  We offer exceptional aesthetic results due to our training and experience. Dr. Monsalvez has received accolades by Professors of Vascular Surgery because of his outstanding results. What We Do

 The Laser Institute and Vein Care Center has the newest and most exciting lasers on the market today. 

Dr. Jose G. Monsalvez has been selected as one of the top surgeons by Consumer's Research Council of America and was also voted "Top Doc" by H Magazine in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

His expertise has been requested by other physicians for training in the use of laser procedures. We have been training Doctors from out of the country, out of state and out of the city for many years in the art and science of Lasers for the treatment of Varicose Veins.

The Institute has expanded the services it offers to not only include the care of Varicose Veins but Spider Veins, other Venous Disorders, Comprehensive Rejuvenation program*, Hair Removal, Hair Growth* and Laser Treatment for acne cases that have been non-responsive to medication. All procedures are performed by Dr. Monsalvez who is a General and Vascular Surgeon and the Director of the Institute who will personally work with you to design the treatment that best fits you.
